Long Islanders Voted WBAB in West Babylon Best Radio Station on Long Island!

Flipping on the radio and hearing great songs is the best feeling while your driving to work each morning or home each evening. It’s so hard to find a great station these days but we did just that and now you can jam away while on your way! We bring you this year’s winners for Best Radio Station on Long Island.

1. WBAB

55 Sunrise Hwy., West Babylon. 631-587-1023. www.wbab.com

Radio has changed a lot over the years, and not many Long Island radio stations sound like they did 20, 10 or even five years ago, but WBAB remains an Island institution, playing generous servings of classic and modern rock, as well as plenty of local music and metal. It’s as reliable as radio gets, and it has been for decades—those black-and-gold bumper stickers seem to be on every third car on the LIE—and if you want to hear Led Zep or Billy Joel, just tune into BAB. You’ll hear them pretty soon. (And you’ll hear plenty of other great stuff, too.)

2. WBLI

555 Sunrise Hwy., West Babylon. 631-669-9254. www.wbli.com

3. WFUV

Fordham University, Bronx. 718-365-9815. www.wfuv.org

Was the voting done before or after WBLI fired Randy and Drew and hired that idiot Jeffrey?
