Forget the Lighthouse—Nassau Coliseum is still the most beloved concert venue on Long Island, based on the votes. Of course, Long Islanders have been attending shows at the Coliseum for decades, now. And some of the biggest names in music roll through Uniondale, and that won’t change anytime soon. In 2011, acts such as Lady Gaga, Sade and the Vans Warped Tour are scheduled to bring their tour buses to the home of the Islanders.
2. NYCB Theater at Westbury

This theater has round style seating for 3,000 and incredible acoustics. Famous artists like Clay Aiken and Miranda Cosgrove are set to come to the venue in the coming year. The theater also features comedians, children’s theater and many other shows for Long Island to enjoy.

Each season Tilles Centre hosts more than 100 performances. From Yo-Yo Ma to Michael Bolton, the venue has a diverse mix of performances. Located on the beautiful campus of Long Island University, it is also home to the Long Island Philharmonic. Whether your genre of choice is classical or contemporary, the Tilles Centre definitely has something for you to enjoy.
