A Long Island networking group is sort of its own walking, talking, and meeting version of a Best of LI list. At a good LI networking group you’ll meet the good of Long Island, but you’ll only meet the best of LI at the best networking group on Long Island. We bring you this year’s winners for Best Networking Group on Long Island.
Long Islanders voted and the Long Island Association is the Best Networking Group on Long Island
1. Long Island Association
300 Broadhollow Rd., Melville. 631-493-3000. www.longislandassociation.org
A lot has happened recently to the largest business group in New York that boasts more than 5,000 business members. Matt Crosson stepped down as president after heading the group for more than 16 years and migrated west to Las Vegas to head their Chamber of Commerce. Sadly, Crosson passed away in December. Kevin Law took over the top LIA spot after he left his president and CEO position at LIPA to try and fashion the behemoth group into a 21st century networking organization. Law has his work cut out for him, but we’re confident that he will prevail.
