Apparently, the winner in this category is determined not by who is the best, but who can get the most friends to vote for them. I have been to practically every beer store on L.I. and these guys, while decent, aren’t even close.
How sad.

Chris, Where can i find a larger growler selection on Long Island? According to http://www.beermenus.com/wantagh-beverage Wantagh Beverage has 12 growlers and over 300 micro and craft. I went there after I read the 2011 results and I had a hard time making a decision about what to buy.

rich, you’re right, i apologize. after checking out beermenus, beeradvocate, and ratebeer, wantagh is clearly the “go to” destination on long island.
