As they put it, the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce is “dedicated to the cooperative efforts of the business and residential community toward the preservation of quality, character and vitality of Farmingdale.” The Chamber purports to provide community awareness, among other things. And while the striving village (and college town) continues its hopeful ascent, its members, who voted the Chamber the best of its class, obviously agree.
