I have to disagree with Petro as #1. I did a construction project awhile back and asked them to not deliver oil and put a hold on my account until I called them because I had to move my oil tank. They said no problem and three days before my plummer was to move the tank they filled it. This cause all kinds of delays for the construction crew and aggravation for me. They did this again to me after my contract expired with them. I called to close my account until the next season when I would call in November to renegotiate a new contract. The salesperson told me to keep my account open just in the event that I need oil and I would be charged the market price. I told the person I was afraid they would do what they did last time and the rep assured me this wouldn’t happen again by putting notes and a hold on my account. Three months later they delivered a full tank of oil a day before I was going to have 75 gallons put in by a small mom and pop company. I called very aggravated and even though they admitted there were notes and a hold no my account to not deliver oil until I called, there was nothing they can do about it now. They tried to offer me a lower price and I refused to pay based on principal. I even contacted the Attorney General, Better Business Bureau and a lawyer but the only thing they would do is make a note on their file and the lawyer would write a letter. This told me that I’m just a small fish in a big pond and there was nothing I could do. In the end I finally settled with them because I felt my back was against the wall and had no choice. I use them for my air condition service and have been happy so far but God willing I will never have to use them for oil again!!!. They do what they want regardless of how much you try to work with them to prevent things from happening.
