I worked with Sandra Johnson for 2.5 years. She’s fine as long as you don’t ask any questions and treat her like a queen. She is arrogant and unprofessional. We should have called it quits years ago. Never saw anything like it! Take this as a warning!

Doing business with Sandra Johnson for 5 years and has been a pleasure. Her services have been timely and well done in all respects. All my accounting questions lie firmly in her hands. Her staff is friendly and get things done expediently, even in logistically complicated situations, involving lots of business travel on my part. I think I have never talked to an answering machine when I called during business hours often from different countries. This makes a whole difference in the overall scheme of things when you care about getting things done and you have to be sure that things get done timely. When I had hardware issues and lost files, she quickly sent me a copy of her archived files. I have seen her take service to the next level, which I could not say about my Astoria based CPA, who often played hard to get and did not get anything done. As a foreign controlled company without full year presence in New York and needing to file special forms I was a bit overwhelmed by the paperwork and in need of outside help and Citibank gave me a great referral. At the end of the day, Sandra and her team deserve High 5′s and indeed “Female Accountants have Better Figures”.

I beg to differ – perhaps because Mr Schulz does not have full presence in NY and therefore accepts Sandra at her word, he hasn’t seen a whole other dimension to her – we called her Queen Bee! Sandra is not a team player.

Absolutely. got to accept Sandra at her word. She is the CPA, not me. I am not willing to learn and interpret ever changing rule makings of NY State, City and Fed. so it is all in her hands. And I think well so. teamwork goes for me as far as I consider her the outsourced accounting and tax preparation team. since her work was performed well within my expectations, she deserves some praise for it. The important thing for you is that you found a place now where you and your business are well taken care of. It took me 3 years of trial and error to find a CPA that works for me and gets the job done without friction and without wasting my time. There were other CPAs that missed out on my business but it was their own loss, not mine. Everyone is better off the way it is. a complete win-win in the end, at least this is how I see it. I dont get upset anymore about past CPAs who dont do what they promise they would do. Allowing me to focus on my core competencies in a positive frame of mind. it is important to carry on good energies throughout your working day and not dwell over bygones. Good luck to you.

There’s a reason why Sandra Johnson dropped from #1 to #2 two consecutive years in a row!
