=P
Wyld Chyld on Sunrise Hwy in Merrick is the ABSOLUTE BEST shop on LI!!
Davinci tattoo in long island has a beautiful shop. Spotless. A professional tattoo artist did my work. I brought my mom there and my daughter. We are the most beautifully tattooed people we know, and we are definitely going back. Highly recommended.
ARTFUL INK IN BOHEMIA IS THE VERY BEST AROUND !!! TALENT TALENT TALENT .
Tattoo Lou’s is BY FAR the BEST on Long Island!! I chose to broadcast my show live on 106.1 BLI as I got inked and it was my 3rd tattoo from Tattoo Lou’s. I tell all of my friends and family to go there and there is no other place I would ever consider going EXCEPT Tattoo Lou’s! They have the best artists, amazing staff, and everyone I know that go to Tattoo Lou’s has nothing but great things to say! Keep up the good work and I look forward to the new shop in Deer Park opening up on Black Friday!! I’ll definitely be stopping by there!!
Tattoo Lou’s is my favorite shop on Long Island! Their artists are talented, their prices are fair, and the shops are SPOTLESS! I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my tattoos or piercings. I love the new Deer Park location!
Yeah congrats to Tattoo Lou’s. I’m sure it was really hard to win when you asked your customers to make up fake e-mail addresses and use them to register to vote multiple times a day. Cheaters never win
Vaughn Ifill at Johns Tattoo. Your best bet for portraits Black and grey and color work. Take a look http://www.johnstattoo.com or Vaughn Ifill on facebook. Congratulations to Lous!
Congrats Tattoo Lous. You guys are great. I got 5 tattoos from Irish Jay in Selden, and let me tell you I cant go anywhere without getting stopped and people asking who did them. Thanks Jay, Thanks Tattoo Lous, you really deserve this!
Am I living in crazy world? Tattoo Lous is not the best shop on LI..If you want the worst tattoos on LI go there…are you people serious?…check out KINGS AVENUE TATTOO in massapequa
I agree 100%
I totally agree with you. Tattoo Lou’s is NOT the best on LI. There are other shops that don’t have to spend alot on advertising to get clients. Their artwork and talent speak for themselves. Kings AVE. may be good, I also think TATTOO FRENZY in Lindenhurst is excellent. The artwork can’t be denied…..awsome!
This is not realistic….these are chains where MOST people choose to get a tattoo….doesn’t mean it’s the best.
The last four comments almost had me convinced that the others didn’t know what they were talking about and its all scratchers there. I looked at the artists portfolios and see lots of high caliber work. Someones jealous.
Yes, there are allot of awesome artists in the industry today… but there is no reason for all the jealousy! Will, you hit the nail on the head. Tattoo Lous will continue to strive to always remain the absolute #1 Tattoo shops on LI. We keep up on the highest levels of technology and most importantly of all, the cleanliness and value our customers to the highest level. Yes, I am the big one with 5 shops and a 6th on the way, but we never substitute the quality. I can see why people would be jealous…. We also are sure to tattoo and pierce way more people on Long Island for over 50 years, therefore having way more satisfied customers then any other shop
Once again I would like to thank all my customers for thier votes and years of dedication. Thank you to the Realist for keeping it real and being a respectful tattoo artist, in this business the artists should have respect for each other rather then being haters………….
The fast food of tattooing
edited in case u people do not like cussing….flippin marys
Oh my God….like a bunch of flippin’ wash women…he said she said……everyone in this business is so flippin’ worried about what the guy down the block is doing….Go to the shop you like, you sure have ALOT to choose from on long island…As for LOU’s….6/7 shops?,…good… obviously lou knows how to run a business. My shop is 12 years young and I can tell you that dealing with tattoo artists can be dreadful sometimes…thankfully ive really had some great artists come thru my doors..and some…..uggg….just DRAMA…….Stop talking crap people. ..Mind your business. Im not concerned with what the guy down the block is doing…If he successful, Good for him.. If you don’t like the shop, well thats your right. but please stop the flippin’ crybaby crap about Lou’s already….I dont allow crap talking in my shop. You dont like my shop…thats fine….get the funk out….all i ever hear is lou this lou that…Sometimes I just wanna say…”dude, why dont you go open your shop and do you tattoos and stop worrying about what the other guys is doing”….
oh and my the way I have been voted best looking tattoo artist by…well by me.
Good, I am getting hungry!
You want the best,go see the guys at Tattoo Frenzy, the detail on the ones i have and seen are amazing.
i have a tattoo on my wrist onto the hand – not so big! would like to have it redone – completely different looking. do you redo tattoos? are you creative about it. i’ve gone to a number of places since i got this tattoo but i got the feeling they were not capable. i would really love to love my tattoo, not be so ashamed of it as i am. if you dont can you recommend someone?
lynn
i went to tattoo lous in selden for my first tattoo, my whole family gets there ink there and a bunch of my friends too and all their stuff looks AWESOME so i figured go to a trusted place. I had irish jay do mine, i gave him three things that i wanted to be in one tattoo and he drew it all up together and it came out awesome, he fixed the sketch until i was completly satisfied and was totally cool the whole time. Best decision by far, i LOVE my tattoo and have gotten four more since then. The place is super clean and everyone is really nice and helpful. GREAT prices too! 110% advise going to tattoo lous! They’ve definitely earned their spot!
Best Tattoo Parlor on Long Island is by far Kings Avenue Tattoo in Massapequa. As soon as you walk in the door you get a feeling of just how professional their environment is. On the wall there are just awards upon awards, all for different categories. Cover-up, black and gray, portrait, Japanese. You name it they have an award for it. Every single artist there along with having their specialties, is just an overall incredibly talented artist. Some of which have incredibly long wait-lists. Mike Rubendall, the owner, has a wait-list of 18 months for an appointment with him. Justin Weatherholtz, the portrait specialist, is about 7 months. If they have waits that long, then they obviously must be doing something right. It also helps that Mike Rubendall was featured on Tattoo Wars on TLC, where he beat Bugs Jarrion, and was also featured on Tattoo Age.
Go ahead and say they’re mainstream TV artists, but in reality they’re not. They’re all down to earth, respectable artists from around the world with great portfolios. Shaun Nel, for example. He’s tattooed all around the country and did a great job with my inner-arm piece.
Moral of this rant is, if you’re willing to spend the money, they charge $180 an hour, then definitely get your tattoo work done at Kings Avenue.
Just because you have a chain that has become a household name does NOT mean you’re the best! Unfortunately for me O’Donnell doesn’t tattoo on long island so i have to travel to Brooklyn for GREAT ink. There isn’t one artist from any one of lou’s shops that can do better work than Rubendall on Long Island. King’s Ave Tattoo is the best tattoo shop on Long Island with the most talented artists. So before any lou fans reply, check out the portfolio’s of the artists at King’s Ave…….See! I told ya!
