Hofstra, a five-time Best of L.I. winner, was the site of the final presidential debate and will be home to Long Island’s future medical school. And not to be biased or anything, but their new journalism center is state of the art. Not only is every nook of the campus perfectly manicured, you feel like you are on an upstate campus, while smack in between the greatest city in the world and the greatest beaches in the world—and that’s a reason to have Pride.

Farmingdale State College offers 34 different degrees within their four schools: Engineering Technologies, Business, Arts & Sciences and Health Sciences. Pride is good and all, but their $40,000 annual price tag is not.
At least start at Nassau Community College across the street – the education quality is incredible and the price is a 93% discount.
Kings Point is home to the United States Merchant Marine Academy. This should at least be on there for a vote! LI is lucky to have one of the 5 federal service academies located there.

Stony Brook should be number 1 ! SUNY tuition (1/3 of Hofstras), one of the best medical centers in the country, D1 sports teams, real campus life, a brand knew state of the art journalism center, need I say more ?! This list is bogus !
