Had the chance to stop at the #2 spot today, A Taste of Home. Super friendly family owned bakery that has decent coffee and delicious crumb cake.
PS: Strong Optimum WiFi signal and big tables make this a great spot for coffee and work in the a.m..
I just visited Classy Coffee last month for the first time and I must say, the coffee my friend and I were served was not drinkable. It was burned, bitter and nasty. The barista spent nearly the whole time we were there on personal cell phone call. If this is the 3rd best place for a cup of coffee on Long Island then our standards are very low. I will try this place again to see if if it was a fluke, but I can’t say I’m eager to spend my money there again.
Yep, Massapapequa Perk is the best, by far. Luckily, it is near my house. The blend their own coffee and the owner know more about coffee than anybody I have ever met. Nice and friendly atmosphere as well.
