Best Breakfast on Long Island

by Best Of Long Island on January 5, 2010

Because even busy Long Islanders need more than a quick bagel or an egg sandwich. The best breakfast spots evoke lazy vacation mornings when there’s time to deliberate on pancake toppings and omelet fillings. Slow it down and get a heater for that cup of joe.

I’ve given Thomas’s (as they spell it) a bunch of tries, and I just don’t get it. The food is basically serviceable but nothing exceptional. Tasteless home fries, competent but unremarkable omelets.
