Cajun restaurants come and go but this hothouse keeps the heat on. Everything has a kick, even some of the drinks. Crawfish, catfish, gumbo and jambalaya all feel the fire. There’s habanero in the butter and horseradish in the sour cream. When they say something’s spicy—watch out! They also feature real pit BBQ, daily happy hours with music and a great Sunday Jazz Brunch.

The Bayou is THE BEST!!!!!!!
Funny Big Daddys won best Cajun but the The Bayou posted that they won best cajun for 2010. Hmmmmm……. What’s the story?
Big Daddy’s has been voted “First Place Winner” for Best Cajun Restaurant for 2010… the results are on the top of this page.
Big Daddy’s is the best place EVA!! and Mardi Gras is only 11 days away!!!
See ya there!
I’ve tried all 3 places and Big Daddys is clearly the best cajun. the Bayou is a distant 2nd as the article states!
Big daddys is by far the best Cajun. I’ve been to the others and the Bayou is definitely in 2nd place
I totally disagree. THE BAYOU is the BEST Cajun place. Their food is 100% authentic New Orleans cuisine. Big Daddy’s is mostly BBQ and RS Jones is Tex Mex. If you want real Southern food, check out The Bayou.
Been to all three & it’s Big Daddy’s by a country mile and then some.
Maxie does not know what he is talking about. BD’s has as much Cajun stuff on their menu as they always have had and now have added the BBQ as well PLUS PO BOYS!!!!!
And RS Jones calls themselves “Southwestern” not Tex-Mex” Which they are.
