Step inside and experience the time warp, back to 1939 Long Island, when German restaurants were thriving. The menu still has the classic schnitzels and such, but the real draw that has downtown hipsters making the trek is the summertime biergarten and good cold sudsy steins, Bavarian pretzels and bratwurst.

The chef’s specialties include black forest ham that is drizzled with honey maple sauce, or chicken strudel with Portobello mushrooms, spinach, proscuitto and mozzarella baked inside flaky phyllo dough. There’s also the choice of hop smoked ribs and capt’n crunch crusted chicken. Besides the specialties their menu has a number of other choices for their customers delight.
