That gyro meat being cut in the front window of Mediterranean Snack Bar Inc. is homemade lamb and beef, and they slice it generously into warm pita, layered with sliced tomatoes, onions and lettuce, carefully built like the overstuffed sandwich that it is. The tzatsiki sauce is on the side, ready to be heaped on after each bite.

Their Doner-Gyro pita sandwich is a treat of thinly sliced seasoned lamb and beef as well as their chicken Gyro pita sandwich seasoned with slices of rotisserie chicken and their Doner Gyro wrap seasoned with lamb and beef slices rolled in a wrap with lettuce, tomatoes and onions.  Pick anything you want and engulf your taste buds into a world of gyro.

This grill has a number of choices of warm and soft Greek pita wraps, grilled dinners, Greek Specialty pizzas, Greek Phyllo pie, salads, soups, and desserts.  Reasonable prices of delicious food, big portions and friendly people keep their customers pleased.

yes ur right gary i went there last week the food was amazing i tried the gyro and it was the bigest and tastier
gyro i ever had double the size of all other gyro places and the taste it was amazing

The best Gyro I have had in a long time is Gyrolicious in East Meadow. They have your traditional Gyro which is great. They also have chicken & pork gyros which might be the best thing I have tasted in years. The pork one is outta this world. Everything is fresh and homemade.
