There are many components for the ideal wait staff: They should be knowledgeable, but not snobby, attentive but not overbearing, and always polite. The staff at Vincent’s is all these things and more, consistently providing every diner with the best experience they can offer. Peter Luger has been serving the finest steaks since 1887. There is a different daily luncheon specialty for each day of the week, such as pot roast, roast prime ribs of beef, chicken home style, ground beef and cabbage, filet of sole or chopped steak.  Have an appetizer along with it or some nice fresh vegetables including spinach, broccoli, or potatoes.  Hungry for more?  Try apple strudel, chocolate mousse, pecan pie, cheese cake, or even just some ice-cream for dessert.

Vittorio’s serves delectable cuisine with a charming ambiance that transcends ordinary fare.  It offers an extensive wine list of over 80 choices with a selection of delectable dishes.  Start with a nice salad or soup or head straight to the main course with specialty pastas, a nice marinated skirt steak, shrimp scampi or even Chicken Scarpariello.  Need a present for someone?  Vittorio’s offers gift baskets and cards.  Catering is also provided for any special occasion.

My most memorable experience was at Baci in Westbury. So good that it would be worth going there even if the food was average. But it’s not. The food is as good the staff.

i think the argyle grill in babylon has the most knowledgable and nicest wait staff!!!
