Rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, the healing technique of applying needles to specific points on the body is a widely accepted to be an effective practice in the US. But because there are so many practitioners to choose from, finding the best acupuncturist on Long Island can take a lot of trial and error, something few want to deal with when it comes to voluntary needle pricks. I would suggest Channel Qi in Oceanside, which offers Community Acupuncture in a community setting on a sliding scale (Currently $15-35).

Denise Zeiff is an excellent acupuncturist. She is in Great Neck and is very comprehensive and holistic in her work. She also offers nutrition and chiropractic at her office (Forster Healthcare).

I’ve been going to Storm Morales of Acupuncture by Storm and he is amazing. He just build a private practice in the Sayville area which is absolutely beautiful. He is painless with his acupuncture, definitely you should try him.

Amityville Acupuncture is the place to go for acupuncture & chinese herbs. Erin Hurme Lac. & Colleen Conroy Lac. have a painless needling technique. The office is courteous & professional.

Without a doubt, Lizel Stover in Melville is the best. Not only does she cure just about any ailment with her needless and other “tricks’, abut she is honest and does not recommend treatments or frequent visits which ares not necessary

I vote for Amityville Acupuncture. Erin has an excellent, soothing way with clients. And she gives so much back to her community with her support for breast cancer patients.

I make the trip from NC just see Erin at Amityville Acupuncture. She and her staff are truly the best in her field. Not feeling up to speed? Visit Erin and sit down with her to see what the problem may be.

Dr. Ping Zhu is by far the best in my opinion. He was an MD in China and is the head professor at NY College in Syosset (third place on this list). He practices out of a private office in Hicksville. He has helped me and my wife with a number of different issues over the years and has a fantastic bedside manner. His practice is called Nature Vitality Acupuncture.

Does anyone know any accupuncturist in or around Freeport?
Also, none of you have posted any of the doctor’s contact info or website address
