Dr. Jennifer LaMonica, of Mineola, is by far miles ahead of any Chiropractor on Long Island and probably all of New York. People fly in to see her and so would you if you knew her. She is a gift to the community……………

Dr. Walter Priestly is an outstanding practioner. I have recommended several friends and co-employees to Dr. Priestly and all were exceptionally satisfied.

The Long Island Press was correct in naming him Chiropractor of the year.

I nominate Dr. Davin Halpern in Northport, NY. I have been a patient of Dr. Halpern for 2 years and I must say he is “the best.” I go to him not only for my back and neck injury after my accident, but for my general health and wellness. He is understanding, flexible, compassionate, knowledgable, reliable, loyal, honest, and truly cares about his patients. He is passionate about chiropractic care and it clearly shows through his endless efforts in helping his patients. I’m so glad I found him & appreciate everything he has done and continues to do for me.

I nominate Dr, Davin Halpern D.C. I have been a patient of Dr. Halpern’s for over ten years. He has treated my neck and back after surgeries, and has been able to let me lead as close to a normal life as possible. He is very compassionate and makes sure the patient comes first, not the insurance companies or the lawyers, but the patient. He is a great chiropractor and a good guy!

I nominate Dr. Davin L. Halpern. I neglected the fact that my back had bothered me for quite some time. I started seeing Dr. Halpern about a year ago and since have had no problems. He assessed the problem that I had, and then after a number of visits ran tests and showed me how my back has progressed. He’s also very friendly and has a great counter staff.

I nominate Dr. JoAnna Fasulo of Fasulo chiropractic. I’ve been her patient for about 10yrs, and truly love being her patient! I first found her when i injured my lower back and neck in a very
bad car accident. I wasn’t able to move or do the things that i could normally do. She has really helped me get my life back on track again. She has also helped me with another health issue that i was having at the time, and i am forever greatful for that. I have mentioned to her that i was having trouble sleeping and the relaxation techniques that she showed me have made such
a big difference. I am now sleeping through the night again and feeling well rested. She has added Applied kinesiology, NRT testing and Cranial sacral therapy to her practice, I go for
regular cranial sessions with her that are wonderful, it has really made a difference with my tmj pain, and headaches. JoAnna is the kind of person who will go out of way to help her patients.
I never met a more caring person, JoAnna and her staff really make you feel like part of the family. I don’t make any health related descions without her. I am soo glad that i found her!

I nominate Dr. Allen Sherr of Northport Wellness Group in Northport, NY. He’s the most proficient chiropractor, wholeness, homeopathic chiropractor we have today. He’s active with autism and various childhood disorders. He combines his expertise with expert body manipulation which serves the patient needs, and can couple that with nutrition and wellness information to keep the patient in optimum health. His bedside manner is kind, considerate, listening, and caring. And if you need him in an emergency, he will meet you on any day at his office to help you. He’s the most educated doctor and the most loved because he cares for his patients and will always go nine yards to achieve the health results that benefits patients. I would never go to any other chiropractor. He’s made me straight and made me walk when I thought I couldn’t take another step. He’s the best chiropractor on the Island and he needs to be number one.

You should try Dr. Steve Macagnone (516-4334242). I was fitted for orthodics right in his office. He also has the equipment to take his own xrays and he provides his patients with the tools to be painfree AND to achieve wellness and stay that way! He is in Jericho on Broadway right off the NS exit. I can’t believe he wasn’t the “best” this year!

All my life I heard horror stories that chiropractors do more harm than good. Needless to say I was leery about them. Well I can attest to its validity if you are seeing one who doesn’t know what they are doing! I was seeing a chiropractor for a very brief time who, with only one neck adjustment, caused me to have migraine headaches so awful that the light would hurt my eyes, I couldn’t pick my head up off my pillow and I was vomiting and bedridden for three days. This is when a friend of mine recommended Dr. Steve from Center Island Chiropractic. Mary, just like me , does not like doctors (who really does?). But she spoke very passionately about Dr Steve and so I decided to give him a try and made my first appointment. I almost cancelled it because I had such pain in my head and I really didn’t want to get out of bed. Well I am glad I went that day. When I told him how I was feeling, he knew immediately where he needed to work on me to relieve the pain and he did! I was actually able to drive home in minimal pain and by the next morning the migraine was completely gone! I was sold on him that very first day. I now see Dr. Steve for issues that most people would think do not require chiropractic care. It has been just a few months and I can truly say he is a blessing!

People do not need to have back pain to see a chiropractor. If the alignment of your spine is off then you cause irritation to the nervous system and probably constrict the blood flow to your vital organs. This can cause problems with any part of your body. I personally have been battling Crohn’s disease for many years. After conventional medicine failed me, I joined several medical “studies” and I was considered a failure with each of them. I went through several surgeries and the past 3 years I was lucky if I could keep my weight up to 100 lbs. Now with Dr. Steve properly aligning my spine, my whole body (and mind) feel better! My pain has subsided and I am starting to gain weight again.
