The driving range, one of LI’s best for the second year in a row, offers 72 greened stalls on two floors, and balls by the bucket. Few things can compare to a quiet night spent taking a 3-wood to 100 golf balls.

Heartland Golf Park is just steps from the Deer Park train station. They have a state of the art 92-stall 2-teir golf range. A park geared toward family fun, there is a professional teacher day or night to help the family improve their game! Located on the park is also a fabulous mini-golf course and restaurant for a full day of family fun. Heartland also offers new kids Par-tee zones so kids can enjoy the fun of golf with friends on their special day. Heartland is number two on the Best of Long Island list this year, but a family favorite every year!

Bethpage State Park Golf Course was the site of the 2002 and 2009 US open, and features five 18-hole regulation courses. It is listed as one of the 100 Greatest Golf Courses in America and is 6th in the state of New York. Bethpage’s Golf course is also known as the “Black course,” this is where the pros play the PGA and US Open Games. If you want to play like the pros, this is the course to visit. Bethpage is number 3 on the Best of LI list this year.
