Last summer, we took surfing lessons. And, well, it’s a lot harder than it looks. We had salt water randomly dripping out of our nose for days. So it’s important to give yourself every advantage you can get. After all, you don’t want to embarrass yourself in the Long Island surf. And greatness in the water starts with just the right surf shop.
Long Islanders Voted Bunger Surf Shop the Best Surf Shop on Long Island!
Bunger Surf Shop

Any surf shop can sell a body suit and board, but Bunger Surf Shop isn’t any surf shop. Need proof? The shop’s website has pictures of one Tom Bunger and one Charlie Bunger—last names ring a bell?—surfing during Hurricane Bill and in Nicaragua, respectively. That would be like a car salesman demonstrating the ability to parallel park in Manhattan. It’s why Bunger’s motto—There Is No Substitute For Experience—is no dumper.
