Long Island’s love for hometown rock hero Billy Joel goes without saying. Although absence makes the heart grow fonder, we’re also too impatient several years to see him between concerts. Big Shot, “The Ultimate Billy Joel Experience,” consistently draws crowds eager to scratch that itch to see “Only the Good Die Young” live. And we love them for filling that hole in our hearts with such passionately convincing renditions.

Dr. K’s Motown Revue is recognized by Motown original artist as being the best cover band on Long Island
I think this article says Big Shot is the best cover band in L.I., maybe they will do a follow up on the runners_up in the next issue and mention Dr k. Good luck.
