Ewwwww who would vote WBAB best station? Really? They play the same old same old music they have been playing for the past 30 years. EVERYONE I speak too or have heard talk about Rock radio stations on Long island always say the same thing in regards to WBAB. They are outdated, boring, with and a pathetic sad format. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz….
Really? Bruce Springsteen, Led zeppelin, Tom Petty and the heart breakers, etc. YET AGAIN? The best is to add insult to injury they play THE SAME REPETITIVE SONGS from the same repetitive artists!!
Listening to WBAB is torture theses days. That station makes EVERYONE feel old!! From the young generation to the baby boomers!! The good ole days of blasting WBAB on 10 are long long gone!! The 80′s / and somewhat of the 90′s heyday are just a sad distant memory!!
Funny, WALK Fm was considered the “older” format station. When they do, they play more happening rock then WBAB!!
I am not alone in this thought!! WBAB plays it safe. To safe. Ridiculous safe. The only reason this station gets played by most is the signal. It comes in very clear so subsequently it is better then nothing!! This used to be a station that was cutting edge, it is so horrible and has been for years and years. They need to get a new program director, revamp it’s entire boring staff and start fresh.
WBAB as number # 1 radio station is a long faded memory!! BS!!!!
