When she isn’t doing the morning newscast, Colton is on the front lines chasing the big news du jour. Her biggest recent moment came while reporting live from Long Beach when Tropical Storm Irene hit. While standing just north of the boardwalk, she fell in the storm surge as it flooded the streets. The only part of her that wasn’t fully submerged was her hand, holding her microphone in the air to keep it from getting wet.
