Best breakfast spot on LI is Cornucopia’s hands down. Maureens is good, but out of the way for just about everyone on LI and there’s always a ridiculous line. Thomas’, I truly don’t get what all the hub-bub is about. I’ve been there several times and it’s cute at first. They serve you your food on a hot skillet and all that, but once that novelty wears off, you start to realize, it’s nothing you couldn’t do at home, MUCH better and MUCH cheaper. Cornucopia’s, while not the cheapest spot on LI, it at least offers fresh seasonal ingredients (They get delicious farm fresh eggs from Pennsylvania)and an inspired menu that goes far beyond what you might whip up around the homestead.
