Being that Long Islanders love baseball so much, it is great to have a home team! The Long Island Ducks are now eleven years old. Though it’s been six years since they grabbed the league championship title, they’ve knocked out a number of division championships in the past few years, and it’s time we see which player is truly the Best Duck on Long Island. Thus, we bring you this year’s winners for Best Long Island Duck.

The LI Ducks love Long Island, and we love the LI Ducks, especially Ray Navarrete, No. 16, who has played in six seasons for Long Island’s favorite baseball team. The veteran infielder knocked in 79 runs and hit 27 home runs in 122 games for the Ducks this past season. The Port Washington native has also played in the past four Atlantic League All-Star Games. We’ll quack to that!
