Best of Long Island Voting Process Every year from Oct. 1 to Dec. 15, voting is open for Best of Long Island. During this 75-day window everyone can vote for whatever local store, restaurant, business or person they feel should hold a Best of Long Island title. All you need in order to vote is a valid email address and live in the? continental United States. You are allowed one vote per email address per day for each category. Once you sign up, you can log in daily and vote for as many or all categories. These categories are in sections such as Arts and Entertainment, Food, Health and Wellness and others to make it easy to find a specific place you‚re looking for. Voting for Best of Long Island is a great way to support the places you frequent. Once the voting ends, results are added up and double-checked for ?fraudulent e-mails addresses or obvious abuse (those votes are then removed). After this the results are added up again.
